Emanuel Marincău

Emanuel Marincău is a 19 years old Romanian under 19 international who stands at 1.90m tall. A right-footed centre-back who plays on the left side of the defence, he has a good relationship with the ball and feels comfortable playing with both feet. He is aggressive in duels and in marking, winning back possession on several occasions. He is dominant in the air, has a good reading of the game and is strong in anticipating his opponents.

He has a good positional sense, which means he is always in the right place to intercept, and he reads the game well, anticipating his opponents well. He is good at marking his direct opponent, closes spaces well and has good timing when disarming, recovering possession several times. He shows good relationship with the ball, is capable of playing with both feet and is assertive in passing and in his actions, always delivering well to his teammates. He adds quality in the first phase of construction, by connecting well inside the opponent's structure and breaking the lines of pressure. He demonstrates skills in driving in the first few meters, arriving in the area where he shows a good shot from medium distance. Communicative athlete, confident in his actions who reveals a good vision of the game. His weak point is the periods of excessive aggression he presents, committing several unnecessary fouls. Player with potential who plays for the Mainz U19 team and who performed well in the excellent Romanian national team. In the near future, I see him integrating into the German first team and being the future central defender of the Romanian first team.
