Francis Onyeka

Francis Onyeka is a 18 years old German under-18 international who stands at 1.86m tall. He shows quality in the final third, as he is technically advanced, good in 1v1, has a good final pass and shoots well from medium distance.

Technically evolved, he is good at short dribbling and in 1v1 offensive situations, and has a good first touch which allows him to receive guidance for his next action. Mobile midfielder, who understands the space he occupies very well and is always on the move looking for the right space to receive and then progress with the ball. Therefore, he reveals a good ability to associate the game between the defensive and offensive sectors and is capable of transporting the game through controlled driving and breaking lines through well-measured passes. He is creative and demonstrates his ability to reach the final third, where he demonstrates quality in his final pass, a good shot from medium distance and a good finish. He shows skills in terms of long passing, namely by varying the center of play when necessary and making crosses for his teammates to finish. Defensively, he is aggressive in pressing and has a good reading of plays. Its weaknesses concern defensive commitment and decision-making, as this is not always the best. A player with potential who has already made his debut for Bayer Leverkusen's first team and who is often present in training and among Xabi Alonso's team's squad.
